Doesn't mix
2I was super exited to use this powder in my coffee after being a fan of the collegan peptides but I feel let down by this product. The consistency is much thicker being a creamer but it doesn't dissolve very easy, it just sits on the top of the coffee and when you mix it it then clumps. Even though the coffee is freshly poured so is hot ive tried microwaving it after for it to blend better which doesn't feel right and then makes the coffee too hot. So for me unfortunately dissapointed.

Nice vanilla flavour
5If you’re dissolving this in coffee, the coffee needs to be quite hot. I have a Nespresso machine and it takes some effort for the creamer to dissolve, as it sticks on the spoon if the water isn’t hot enough. Once dissolved, it’s really nice and not too sweet. I’m taking collagen to see if it makes a difference to my vision. I’ll let you know how I get on.Â

Works for my skin and nails
5Nice flavour ideal to put in your cappuccino as it’s very creamy! Vanilla flavour is also perfect for my smoothies!

Not great
3I have always used the original flavorless powder, saw this one on special offer and thought it would be nice in coffee.Although it’s a creamer, I still need to add plenty of milk first and then the collagen creamer after, it’s ok, but I wouldn’t buy again.Vital proteins are a reliable company however and I have been using them in the UK for years, hence the 3 star ratingÂ

Better than expected
4As a long time connoisseur of protein powder I know it can be very hit and miss. Â I was pleasantly surprised with the flavour and texture of this product. I can mix it with my yogurt and enjoy an extra 10g of protein. I haven't used it long enough to notice changes in skin and nails, but am happy enough with another high protein powder in my arsenal. Â
