Collagen Chocolate Chip Pancake Doughnuts Recipe

chocolate chip pancake doughnuts with collagen creamer

Make your Pancake Day breakfast extra special this year, with this collagen recipe for Chocolate Chip Pancake Doughnuts, which makes a classic treat even more decadent! Interested in knowing why? We’ve got you covered.

For starters, it calls for better-for-you ingredients, such as ground flaxseed, coconut oil and, of course, collagen. The ground flaxseed adds fibre to the recipe, while the coconut oil adds a touch of healthy fats. The Vital Proteins Collagen Creamer® in Vanilla comes in to pump up the flavour!

Plus, did we mention this recipe only requires one bowl and takes 15 minutes to bake? Whether you whip these up for breakfast or dessert, they’ll be ready in the blink of an eye! We doughnut know about you, but we’re ready to get baking. (Sorry, we had to!)

Vital Proteins® Collagen Creamer™: What You Need to Know

Using Vital Proteins® Collagen Creamer™ in this recipe brings extra creaminess, collagen peptides and flavour! Our collagen coffee creamers are available in Coconut and Mocha flavours as well as Vanilla and they make a great addition to coffees and your favourite baking recipes from classic vanilla cake to tasty coconut muffins.

Vital Proteins’ Collagen Creamers contain coconut milk powder, which makes them a source of ‘good’ fats, and they also feature 10g of collagen peptides sourced from bovine hide in every serving. They’re suitable for using if you follow a gluten-free or paleo diet and they’re bioavailable, so they can be easily digested and absorbed by your body.

We recommend using one serving of Vital Proteins’ collagen a day to promote a youthful appearance.
